Managing Sites
Every WordPress site you manage gets its own connection in MantleWP. Add a site, install the plugin, and data flows automatically.
Adding a Site
Go to Dashboard > Sites > Add Site. Enter site name and URL. MantleWP generates a unique API key. Copy this key — you'll paste it into the WordPress plugin settings.
Site Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Site added but no data received yet |
| Active | Plugin connected, data flowing |
| Unreachable | Last health check or heartbeat failed |
| Paused | Manually paused by you (stops data collection) |
Site Dashboard
Each site shows: latest health score, uptime percentage, WordPress/PHP versions, active theme, plugin count, and last check timestamp. Click any site to see full history.
Removing a Site
Go to Dashboard > Sites > select site > Delete. This removes the site, all health checks, uptime pings, and reports for that site. The WordPress plugin becomes inactive (it will show a connection error). This action cannot be undone.
Site Limits
Your plan determines how many sites you can connect:
- Free: 3 sites
- Starter: 10 sites
- Pro: 50 sites
- Agency: Unlimited
You cannot add sites beyond your limit — upgrade your plan first.
API Key Security
Each site gets a unique 64-character API key. If compromised, delete the site and re-add it to get a new key. Keys are stored encrypted.
