DocsManaging Sites

Managing Sites

Every WordPress site you manage gets its own connection in MantleWP. Add a site, install the plugin, and data flows automatically.

Adding a Site

Go to Dashboard > Sites > Add Site. Enter site name and URL. MantleWP generates a unique API key. Copy this key — you'll paste it into the WordPress plugin settings.

Site Statuses

StatusMeaning
PendingSite added but no data received yet
ActivePlugin connected, data flowing
UnreachableLast health check or heartbeat failed
PausedManually paused by you (stops data collection)

Site Dashboard

Each site shows: latest health score, uptime percentage, WordPress/PHP versions, active theme, plugin count, and last check timestamp. Click any site to see full history.

Removing a Site

Go to Dashboard > Sites > select site > Delete. This removes the site, all health checks, uptime pings, and reports for that site. The WordPress plugin becomes inactive (it will show a connection error). This action cannot be undone.

Site Limits

Your plan determines how many sites you can connect:

  • Free: 3 sites
  • Starter: 10 sites
  • Pro: 50 sites
  • Agency: Unlimited

You cannot add sites beyond your limit — upgrade your plan first.

API Key Security

Each site gets a unique 64-character API key. If compromised, delete the site and re-add it to get a new key. Keys are stored encrypted.

Next steps: Get started, install the WordPress plugin, or check your plan limits.
