Reports
MantleWP generates branded PDF reports from live site data. Each report covers health, uptime, performance, security, and plugin inventory—designed to look better than what agencies spend hours creating manually.
Report Sections Overview
Every MantleWP report includes 8 key sections:
1. Header & Branding
Your logo, company name, and report period. On Pro and Agency plans, all MantleWP branding is removed for a fully white-label look.
2. AI Executive Summary
A 3–4 sentence plain-English summary written by Claude Sonnet, highlighting key findings and recommendations. Falls back to a template-based summary if AI is unavailable, so reports always generate on time.
3. Uptime Report
Shows site availability percentage for the report period, with a day-by-day breakdown chart. Non-technical clients immediately see "99.8% uptime" and understand the value of monitoring.
4. Performance Metrics
Core Web Vitals, response times, and page load data. Color-coded green/yellow/red so clients understand at a glance whether their site is performing well or needs optimization.
5. Security Status
SSL certificate validity, security plugin status, and any detected vulnerabilities. Shows clients that their site is actively protected.
6. Updates Applied
A list of WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates applied during the period. Proves ongoing maintenance and risk reduction.
7. Plugin Inventory
Complete list of active plugins with version numbers. Useful for compliance audits and identifying unused or outdated plugins.
8. Footer
Your custom contact info, branding, and report generation date. On Pro/Agency plans, your agency name replaces "MantleWP."

AI Executive Summary
Each report includes an AI-written executive summary. MantleWP uses Claude Sonnet to analyze site data and write a brief, actionable summary in plain language.
What it includes: Highlights of the period (e.g., uptime percentage, major updates, any issues flagged by Site Health), a brief recommendation (e.g., "Consider optimizing images for faster load times"), and a forward-looking statement.
Fallback: If AI is unavailable or slow, the report uses a template-based summary instead. Reports never fail to generate because of AI delays.
Downloading and Sharing
Download as PDF
From the Reports page, click the report row and select Download. The PDF opens in your browser and can be saved to disk.
Email to Client
Select a report and click Email to Client. Enter the recipient email address, optionally add a custom message, and send. The email includes a brief intro and the PDF attached.
Share as Link
Reports can be shared via a private, expiring link. Copy the link from the report page and send to clients—no password required.
Report Quality & Design
MantleWP reports are designed to look better than manual Google Docs reports. Every report is print-friendly, works in grayscale, and adapts to your branding (logo, colors, company name).
Design principles: Clear hierarchy (big numbers first), color-coded health indicators, minimal jargon, and plenty of white space. Clients should understand every metric without explanation.
Branding flexibility: Whether your logo is horizontal, square, dark, or light, the report adapts. See White-Label Branding to customize colors and remove MantleWP branding entirely.
